Gemels S.p.A. just 25 minutes from Bergamo city, celebrated Atalanta’s success against the Leverkusen team.

Atalanta on the evening of Friday 31 May, celebrated winning the team’s first European trophy win.

Despite the rain, the city was full of people: children, adults and the elderly wearing official Nerazzurri T-shirts and residents celebrating from balconies waving the the atalanta flag.

It was an unforgettable day for Bergamo, which, in addition to celebrating the European victory, allowed the bond between fans and players to grow even stronger.

They drove around the entire city on an open-top bus starting the route from largo Colle Aperto in Bergamo Alta where the players passed through Porta Sant’Agostino until they arrived at the Gewiss Stadium.

There were fireworks in the city centre with the song “we are the champions” and fans who, as the team passed by, threw their shirts to the players to get an autograph.

It was a memorable night for Bergamo, which brought citizens together after the Covid disaster and creating an atmosphere of regeneration for the town.
